Quality assurance system

From its foundation 18 years ago, OÜ Falkonett Metall has attached great value to guaranteeing the quality of marketed goods. This requires regular and systematic cooperation between staff members as well as monitoring and assessing production and service processes. The goal is to search for the best solutions and ways of operation so we can ensure the high value of our products and services. Therefore we have established quality requirements for all sorts of raw materials and products, special requirements for machines, production process and premises and qualification levels for our employees.

One of the cornerstones of product manufacture is professional and flexible approach to clients’ requests. Our quality policy is based on cooperation-minded and responsible staff members. All operations and work management are carried out by professionals who have studied the corresponding field or have undergone special training. Every year development discussions are held with all employees: the interviews help to set work and development-related goals and to determine what kind of training and instruction they need.

All products manufactured in our company are designed by using modern design and drafting programmes (AutoCad, SolidEdge).
The company’s two constructor-technologists, who design our products, are both engineering graduates of the Tallinn University of Technology.
All our metal products are manufactured from certified raw materials and all products pass in-house quality control. When obtaining steel sheets, the company relies on its long-term partnerships and quality certificates that are issued by the producer and accompany each and every shipment of materials. Metal materials are of Russian origin.

We use modern computer-operated metal processing machines for the manufacture of product details: metal processor AMADA AC 2510 NT (purchased in the summer of 2008), guillotine AMADA PROMECAM GS-630 and bending machine AMADA HFT 80-25.

All product structures are connected with spot-welding that has become one of the most highly recognised locker-making technologies in Scandinavia. The durability of this technology is also proved by the fact that the majority of price requests and orders from Scandinavia are for lockers with welded seams, this requirement being set by engineers and designers.

Locker paint is applied with powder-coating technology. For metal is used special powder. The paint is attached to locker elements by heating.

Raw materials are stored in compliance with requirements established and recommended by the producer, thus ensuring the preservation of their initial quality. Finished products are stored in a separate warehouse.

In-house quality control is conducted by two employees, both of whom are professional welders-metal workers. They have excellent knowledge and experience of the manufacture of metal furniture as both have worked in OÜ Falkonet Metall since its foundation.
They conduct both visual and technical control of all manufactured products.

In order to ensure the good order of machines and equipment, specialists and production workers maintain them according to service plans and schedules and measure their performance on a weekly basis. Also, we have a system in place for assessing, implementing and recognising improvement suggestions coming from employees because such suggestions are the best way to improve quality, security of supply and working environment, reduce costs, increase profit and simplify operations and maintenance.
